Fronditha Care are currently seeking motivated, experienced individuals for Leisure amp; Lifestyle Team Members that want to make a positive impact to people’s lives and enjoy the benefits of a fulfilling role in a leading organisation.
Templestowe and Clayton have openings but we are always looking across our facilities for talented individuals
About the Role:
- Provide varied programs which promote mental and physical rehabilitation through brain stimulating activities.
- Develop, implement and coordinate programs and recreational activities that are focused on the individual needs of our residents with the purpose of promoting a holistic approach to their well-being.
- Use your relationship building skills to create a positive and uplifting environment
- Create engaging conversation and activities to help stimulate brain and body function
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have
- Qualifications in Leisure amp; Health or formal training in diversional therapy, recreation or relevant discipline or willingness to work toward same
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to speak and read Greek will be highly regarded.
- Empathy with the elderly’s needs
- Demonstrated experience in working with people with dementia (desirable)
- COVID-19 vaccination as per Government mandate and Fronditha Care Policy
- National Police Check
Benefits
- Above Award Salary $25 - $35 per hour depending on employment status, qualifications and roster scheduling.
- Salary packaging available up to $15,900 and $2,650 for meals and entertainment.
