What does it take to become a Civican?
Working across our internal and customer environments, building robust solutions, and providing specialist engineering support needs all your natural superpowers to be at the ready. You would play an important contribution in upskilling of consultants based on product road map amp; sales pipeline.
With your strong back-ground in Finance Consulting, this role gives you an excellent opportunity to work with a team of Finance Consultants who implement and train our Local Government Councils in Authority Enterprise Software; such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, General Ledger, Bank Rec just to name a few. The Consultants work closely with Project Managers and other Business Consultants to deliver customer excellence.
You will deliver Consulting Services in your own right, have excellent stakeholder management skills and will work with other Team Leads to drive improvements in Professional Services delivery and generate revenue opportunities. At times you will also be liaising with Development, Pre-sales, Account Managers and our Service Desk.

You will have experience in:
- Experience with Local Government Authority, Enterprise Software Finance Modules
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong Experience in SQL scripting
- Who is successor to be a team leader
- Ability to communicate effectively at senior levels, facilitating Customer Workshops and delivering Training
You will also come with a demonstrated ability to influence and Consult.
A day in the life
Our Senior Finance Consultant will be responsible to deliver Professional Consulting Services to our Local Government customers across Australia and New Zealand.
You will be working closely with other stakeholders, project managers and customers to understand their requirements in the provision of Local Government solutions and the delivery of Services.
You will be providing support to a team of Finance Consultants responsible for implementation and delivery of training Services across the Australia and New Zealand Local Government sectors to achieve.
