Fronditha Care is a longstanding Aged Care Provider that focuses on providing unique, culturally and linguistically diverse services, offering residential and Community Services to elderly people of predominantly Greek speaking background in Victoria and multilingual background in New South Wales.

We are looking to hear from a motivated Cook/Chef that wants to make a positive impact to people’s lives and enjoy the benefits of a fulfilling role in a leading organisation.

About the Role:

• Assist in ensuring the provision of nutritional, culturally relevant and well-presented food to the elderly residents.
• Prepare foods of all types (keeping in mind the focus on Greek cuisine requirements and preferences of the residents).

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have

• COOK: Qualifications in Hospitality (preferable an Advanced Diploma) or a recognised equivalent, or working towards some aligned and relevant qualification; and demonstrated prior experience working as a cook in a commercial kitchen, ideally with a background in Greek cuisine.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Empathy with the elderly’s needs
• COVID-19 vaccination as per Government mandate and Fronditha Care Policy
• National Police Check
