Job Description

The Fimiston Tool Store Attendant reports to the Fimiston Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, and the primary role is to support maintenance activities on all Fixed Plant Equipment, as directed, in a safe and efficient manner, whilst adhering to Company Standards, Policies and Procedures.

Success in this role will be a high performing team member that proactively engages on safety issues and adherence to required controls, actively works with the maintenance systems to assist the facilitation of continuous improvement. They will also need to be an effective communicator as they will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders. The team member will have excellent hazard identification and produce high quality work, and they will need to have the ability to be proactive in their day to day duties.


** This is a Kalgoorlie residential role based at our KCGM Operations on a 7/7 roster, day shift only, working 12 hour shifts. The successful applicant will reside in the Kalgoorlie Boulder Region. **


Required skills and experience:

  • HRWL - Forklift [LF]
  • Current Unencumbered Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence

Preferred

  • Experience in the mining industry, 2 years minimum
  • Experience in a warehousing facility, 2 years minimum
  • HRWL - EWP [WP]
  • Provide First Aid HLTAID011
  • Work Safely at Heights RIIWHS204Work Safely at Heights RIIWHS204
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to improved Asset Management procedures and practices
