The Business

Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures is proud to be the region’s most awarded, experienced, and longest running tour operator as we offer the widest range of day trips and luxury overnight adventure tours to the spectacular Horizontal Falls and the scenic surrounds. Our season runs from March to November each year.

The Role

We are seeking a Chief Aviation Engineer to join our team in Broome, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of our C208 amphibious fleet including:

  • Overseeing and planning all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
  • Ensuring that work is undertaken safely and in line with industry best practices
  • Leading and supporting a team of LAME's and Trade Assistants
  • Active management of all maintenance related contractors/third party providers

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be trade qualified as an Aviation Engineer holding a B1.1 license, be PT6 type rated and be eligible to hold an Australian ASIC. You will have prior experience in a similar role, have strong organisation skills and safety will be at the forefront of all that you do.
