About the Role

The Product Analyst role work closely with the Product Manager (PM) to define and design the products and services in a customer/partner centred way.

  • Business acumen, technical aptitude and commercial product management knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the PM to define the strategy and roadmap for the portfolio.
  • Actively participating in customer/partner research, ideation and research and development activities.
  • Supporting the design process and assist the PM to define customer and market opportunities for business/investment planning and prioritisation.
  • Helping the PM to prioritise the backlog based on earliest delivered value, risk analysis, impact analysis, impact mapping and dependencies.
  • Working with the Tech Lead and UX Lead to help create the overall solution design, as well as break it down into smaller portions of sprint compatible deliveries
  • Ensuring the delivery team understands the problem/opportunity domain, needs are elicited and broken down into meaningful and valuable backlog items and communicate them to the team.
  • Working with the product engineering team to define clear time estimates (developers, testers, tech lead and scrum master).
  • Assisting the PM in identifying and managing interdependencies with other squads.
