Job Description

We are looking for a Learning and Development Business Partner to partner with our talented and diverse workforce to advance their skills and knowledge. In this role, you will work with our delivery teams to embed our Learning Culture and bring to life our learning and development strategy. We want to set ourselves apart and be known in our industry for providing growth and learning opportunities for our people.

You should be passionate about helping people learn and grow with experience in designing and delivering learning programs. Ultimately, you will help Melba succeed by training and developing our people.

The Role

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, create and source appropriate learning solutions
  • Conduct Learning Needs Analysis ensuring stakeholder requirements are identified, quantified, prioritised, and develop appropriate delivery plans
  • Co-create bespoke solutions and facilitate with members from other teams
  • Establish mentoring and coaching programs and evaluate and support their effectiveness
  • Build strong relationships with Business Leaders, with the ability to influence and promote a learning culture
  • Coordinate and facilitate the ongoing induction program for all new employees and refresher modules where identified
  • Design and develop evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of learning programs
  • Oversee our learning compliance program ensuring they are completed within specified time frames
  • Identify learning partners and manage the vendor relationship from beginning to end

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience working within community services, NDIS or disability (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in instructional design, content curation and facilitation, including co-design with subject matter experts
  • Knowledge in contemporary adult learning methodologies, coaching, and mentoring models and frameworks
  • Experience using LMS/HRIS systems including managing a content lifecycle
  • Comfortable facilitating and presenting to various levels of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and proactively with a diverse range of people
  • Ability to set clear goals and expectations and being accountable for outcomes and behaviour

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
  • Working with Children Check
  • COVID-19 Vaccination certificate
