ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the General Manager (Camps amp; Lodges), you will be the 1st point of contact for our WA Camp Managers (Sal Salis, Ngauwudu and Drysdale), providing assistance to them as the day-to-day liaison for operational issues, staffing needs, staff movements, maintenance and camp stock (food, fuel, maintenance etc), ensuring they have all the tools they need to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience.
You will have regular visits to the sites; ideally once per month to each WA camp as well as weekly meetings with key stakeholders to make sure the season is running smoothly.
This position will require communication between and with a number of key stakeholders within the Outback Spirit business, including but not limited to the operations team, maintenance team, Human Resources, Work Health and Safety, and the finance team.
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful you will need to have had previous experience in in an Operations Management position within a tourism organisation, leading hospitality teams within multi-sites or multi-departments, and with remote experience being highly regarded.
The successful applicant will also be will to travel for multiple days away from home and work autonomously and with the various teams within our business.
