Our Fondarians are the heart and soul of Fonda. They work across both front-of-house and in the kitchen and will be expected to have a solid understanding of both. Don't worry if you don't have a heap of experience, we'll teach you everything you need to know. Whether hosting a table, running food, or rolling a burrito, we treat guests as if they were guests in our own homes.
In Mexico, βFondaβ is a home that is opened up as a restaurant to the local community. We offer a delicious, fresh Mexican-inspired menu that is always served with a side of fun and good vibes in a well-designed space.
Fonda was founded in Richmond, Melbourne in 2011 by two mates - Tim and Dave. Their vision was to develop a menu of Mexican street food dishes designed to share, utilising the quality, freshness, and variety of Australian produce.
We are committed to building a hospitality team with a positive and engaging culture. Our internal values are at the core of every decision, and our people are listened to, respected, and supported in their growth and development.
We've since expanded to 9 sites across Melbourne and Sydney and are always looking for great people to join us as we continue to grow.
