Job Description

Our mission at Ofload is to achieve zero waste in trucking by digitising the transport industry.

In Australia, currently 30% of trucks drive empty and a further 50% are underutilised amounting to mass inefficiency and detrimental environmental impacts. Since 2020 we have scaled to a team of over 100, removed nearly 5 million empty kilometres from our roads. and have planted over 11 000 trees to offset our carbon footprint in partnership with One Tree Planted.

In 2022, we supercharged our growth through the acquisition of logistics experts CIA Logistics, raised $60m in Series B funding and were recognised by the Australian Financial Review as one of Australia’s Most Innovative Companies.

About the opportunity

Our team is growing aggressively, with plans to double in size over the next year. We are now looking for a Carrier Marketing and Partnerships Lead to help us exponentially increase the number of carriers we work with. This role will play a key role in increasing our brand awareness among carriers, ensuring Ofload is a top-of-mind partner for carrier companies in Australia. It will also play a key role executing go-to-market strategy for partnerships.

We're looking for gt;3 years of experience in marketing and the ability to independently plan and drive marketing initiatives. Hands-on-attitude, experience in go-to-market planning and execution and a resilient mindset are also very important.

What You’ll Do

  • Leading carrier-focused marketing initiatives, from ideation to execution.
  • Driving our carrier social media efforts, with an ability to understand ROIs and prioritise accordingly.
  • Creating carrier marketing content and working with Supply Growth to team to boost our carrier acquisition and retention.
  • Experiment, develop, and measure new growth and marketing initiatives, including market research, testing growth levers and developing go-to-market strategies, and provide actionable insights.
  • Own go-to-market for Ofload career-focused partnerships, coordinating comms and ensuring carrier uptake.

What You'll Bring

  • 3 years of experience in marketing (experience in transport industry would high valued, but not essential).
  • Experience in high-growth environment and/or product launch also valued.
  • Do-er mindset and willingness to spend time speaking with carriers. You strive to understand their needs and requirements and adjust our communication to suit them.
  • You take a high degree of ownership in your work and are ready to attack unfamiliar problems with high energy and a refusal to settle.
  • You are enthusiastic to learn new skills and thrive in a fast moving environment.
  • Practical mindset and willingness to repeatedly try, learn and go again.
