The Role
Reporting into the Store Manager, the Operations Manager is an expert in organization and efficiency, managing inventory processes and the overall backroom strategy according to Mejuri’s standards.
The Operations Manager is responsible for shipping, receiving and processing merchandise, maintaining and strategically organizing the back of house (BOH), and completing all other inventory-related tasks to maximize profitable product sell-through and ensure the utmost inventory accuracy.
The Operations Manager must have the ability to set the standard for efficiency, utilizing best in class processes and systems to maximize business results and the store experience. This role will play an important part in developing a retail environment that is deeply focused around our clients and sets the foundation for our sales culture.
The Operations Manager will also apply consistent training and leadership to develop other store team members in BOH tasks and procedures, and work closely with leads amp; stylists to effectively manage the store’s BOH and all related processes.   • Customer Journey:
  • Lead a memorable and exceptional customer service experience that focuses on building relationships through the Mejuri brand story.
  • Ensure operational procedures are functioning and in place to support a positive customer experience in-store.
  • Oversee and manage multiple shopping channels at the store level to support the omni-channel experience.
  • Stay informed of all Mejuri products and latest launches, keeping the team informed as well.
  • Delegate tasks and assist in keeping the showroom clean and organized.
  • Manage the floor and customer experience when the Store Director/Assistant Store Manager is not present.

Sales:
  • As a store leader, positively ensure all KPIS’ within the business are consistently achieved.
  • Ensure that your operational systems, processes and tools enable the business to maximize revenue and is able to achieve both daily amp; weekly goals. Maintain operational processes that have a positive impact on sales and leverage the business.
  • Take ownership of delivering strong results; maintaining awareness of team and individual goals.
  • Work with store leadership team to provide ideas to close any gaps in sales performance.

Operations:
  • Manage all Back of House related tasks and activities including inventory accuracy, display amp; sellable organization, shrink, store supplies, shipping and receiving, omni-channel shopping operations, BOH supplies and technology.
  • Analyze and take action with inventory team to maintain stock levels which maximize selling. Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained. Work closely with the Inventory team to close gaps.
  • Cross-reference and ensure the accurate and timely receipt of weekly inventory and supplies. Oversee backstock and replenishment deliveries.
  • Ensure correct product and packaging levels have been received. Communicate when necessary.
  • Take action to reduce shrink where possible. You will manage and own the store’s inventory accuracy. Complete all necessary documentation for shrink with reasonings explaining why.
  • Manage tasks related to transfers and damages ensuring correct procedures are followed, maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage the flow of BOH retail sales, ensuring efficiency with packaging and ‘running’ standards.
  • Lead the monthly inventory count process, ensuring stock accuracy, timelines, and efficiency. Take appropriate follow-up to provide consistent inventory count results that promote a strong assortment.
