Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a Procurement Analyst due to business growth. The Procurement Analyst reports into the Commercial Manager of Procurement. This integral role will be providing analysis and support to the procurement team and wider business functions.

Requirements

As a Procurement Analyst you will:

  • Analyse data sources to identify issues and provide recommendations, this includes vendor reconciliations.
  • Support procurement activities by presenting negotiation options that allow sustainability across all parties.
  • Develop pricing and cost modelling to evaluate category initiatives and performance metrics.
  • Reporting on a variety of procurement activity.
  • Enhance processes and policies for both internal and external stakeholders where appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities of continuous improvement amongst current practises.
  • Provide recommendations and support to the wider commercial and account management functions.

What we're looking for:

  • At least 1-3 year(s) analytical experience ideally in a procurement role and/or within the supply chain/logistics industry.
  • You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to navigate their competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), high level interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work efficiently, manage time, prioritise workload.
  • Demonstrated problem solving capability amp; strong initiative.
  • Proven skills performing in a team environment.
  • Exposure across various CRM systems (Salesforce preferable but not essential.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • Related degree in Business Management / Supply Chain / Logistics / Economics / Finance / Engineering.
