We have an exciting and influential opportunity to join our Procurement team as a Procurement Specialist based out of our Moorabbin office. The role of the Procurement Specialist is to advocate for efm within the carrier network through the process of solution procurement and rate negotiation while adding value internally by supporting solution design, driving procurement projects and a sharing of information
Requirements
As a Procurement Specialist you will:
- Build strong relationships with Carrier Partners at multiple levels and contact carriers on a pre-scheduled basis to ensure clarity with new and ongoing opportunities
- Negotiate successful rate outcomes ensuring ongoing and sustainable solutions
- Identification of margin improvement opportunities through procurement lead projects
- Drive value adding initiatives (Integrations / IT / Solution Design)
- Continuously update Salesforce for meeting minutes, case updates and reporting
- Critically review and challenge solutions to ensure sustainability
- Provide timely and high-quality communication to stakeholders
- Regular sharing of industry and carrier insights to Service Delivery and Commercial teams
What we're looking for:
- Track record of success in a fast paced / high volume environment
- Knowledge of domestic road transport network
- Broad understanding of commercial and financial fundamentals
- Ability to build and manage supplier relationships
- Ability to communicate to a wide audience
