Your new role
We are looking for a Senior Demand Planner to join our Sales team on a permanent, full-time basis. At GWA we offer hybrid and flexible work options, but when you are in the ‘office’ you will call our North Sydney office ‘home’.
As our Senior Demand Planner, you will support the Demand Planning Manager in leading all forecasting activities associated with allocated product portfolio with cross-functional stakeholders. Specifically, this role will see you responsible for:
- System Implementation and continuous improvement initiatives to continually improve forecasts and management for the Samp;OP process
- Providing training for new staff and being a knowledge centre for demand planning
- Administering the Demand Planning System
- Working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that accurate information is used to create demand plans
- Providing input to Product Life Cycle strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Creating statistical forecasts and completing error analysis to improve/summarise forecasts
- Preparing and maintaining relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
About you
Along with a minimum of 5 years experience in a supply/demand planning role, you’ll have:
- A tertiary qualification/Bachelor degree, preferably in Business or Commerce
- Advanced Excel skills
- Great ERP system knowledge
- Knowledge of IBP principles and practices
- System platform implementation experience is advantageous but not essential
- People management experience is desirable, but not essential
