You have an in-depth understanding of financial principles, thrive in data analytics, and are eager to develop and manage financial systems, reporting, data visualisation, and planning processes.

About the role
As a Financial analyst, you are responsible for tracking Foundr's financial performance against targets and plans, analysing business performance and market conditions to create reporting and forecasts, and helping senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing insightful reports and analysis.
This role goes beyond the typical finance role and extends across the business. You will look at the commercial levers and metrics that help drive the financial performance of the business.
What you'll do
Budgeting amp; Forecasting
- Assisting with the delivery of the budget and monthly forecasts
- Advising the leadership team on strategic planning and business planning initiatives
- Assisting key stakeholders with pricing structure, advertising spend, and other key commercial decisions
- Creating analysis of commercial initiatives and advice on trends
- Financial modeling and forecasting for various business activities
- Cash Flow management
System amp; Processes
- Reviewing system performance, identifying system issues, reporting them to the CFO and implementing solutions
- Gathering insights from data analytics to report to key stakeholders to use in making critical business decisions
- Assisting in developing BI capabilities and performance visualisation tools across the business
- Collaborating with the Engineering department regarding system implementations, upgrades amp; system requirements
- Documenting training and supporting finance team members in the use of financial systems and procedures.
- Managing and reducing risks to the business and informing any risks to the CFO
- Improving day-to-day and longer-term Treasury Management, including supporting the administration of external banking and payment platforms
Financial amp; Commercial Analysis
- Analysing the metrics, both financial and non-financial, that drive business performance
- Preparing the monthly Management report
- Analyzing current and past financial data and performance
- Looking at current financial performance and identifying trends
- Preparing financial reports and communicating information to key stakeholders
- Consulting with the key stakeholders to develop long-term commercial plans
- Suggesting budgets and improvements
- Exploring different investment and commercial opportunities
- Developing initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth
- Variance analysis and reporting
- Collecting and analysing data and insights over SaaS amp; Publishing metrics to drive the business forward
