Our Fondarians are the heart and soul of our restaurants, with our brand ethos of Mi Casa Su Casa driving everything we do. With this in mind, we recruit our Trainee Team Members on attitude over experience (none required) - we're a young brand with big growth ambitions, so we're after high energy candidates who are hungry to ride the wave with us. Whether it be greeting guests, running food, rolling burritos or shaking margaritas, the role itself will learn all stations in our restaurant, both front of house and in the kitchen; all we need is a genuine desire to learn and authentic care to deliver a knockout guest experience."

WHO IS FONDA?
Fonda was founded in Richmond, Melbourne in 2011 by two mates - Tim and Dave - with a vision of bringing a uniquely fresh take on Mexican street food to Australia.
In Mexico, a ‘fonda’ is a home that a family opens up to their local community as an unofficial restaurant. It’s this idea of everyone feeling welcome, relaxed and at home that really struck a chord with Tim and Dave. Not only did we borrow the Fonda name, but the idea of a fonda was also the inspiration behind our brand ethos of Mi Casa Su Casa. This embodies how we treat our staff, like our family, and how we treat our customers, like guests in our own home.
These days, we have 9 restaurants scattered across Melbourne and Sydney, with big plans to expand further over the coming 12 to 18 months.
