Your new role
Due to an internal move, we are looking for a Senior Analyst FPamp;A to join our Finance team based in North Sydney. The FPamp;A Senior Analyst supports our purpose through providing accurate and on time decision support to the Australian Finance Leadership team.
This role will take a lead in the preparation of annual budgeting and forecasting for the Australian market through delivery of operational analysis. With this, the successful applicant will have a real opportunity to provide critical commentary and business recommendations to the finance team and functional business partners. This role will also contribute to the Monthly Business Review process by providing analysis and alignment of functional reporting. With the implementation of a new ERP and reporting tool (Microsoft D365 / Power BI), this role will take lead in the development, design and maintenance of management reporting.
About you
Along with a minimum of 3-5 years accounting / reporting experience and a CPA/CA qualification, you’ll have:
- Advanced Excel modelling skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience in decision support and financial analysis
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Experience in producing full monthly management accounts
- Solid experience in financial analysis; setting budgets and forecasting
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics365 and PowerBi (ideally)
