About our role

This position is based at our KCGM Operations, reporting to the Senior Reliability Engineer. In this residential role, you will provide reliability engineering support in driving improvements in plant performance through optimising asset strategies and tactics, whilst undertaking a program of ongoing defect elimination. This includes the support of informed decision-making based on reliability and availability information, through detailed analysis including undertaking failure investigations and establishing the root causes of failure and the review of critical equipment spares.

** This is a Kalgoorlie residential role on a 5:2/4:3 roster. The successful applicant will reside in the Kalgoorlie Boulder Region. **

Required skills and experience:

  • Three (3) years experience in the reliability sector - mineral processing environment or similar.
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical / Instrumentation) or above, with relevant equivalent experience. a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the maintenance or projects sectors in an industrial or processing environment
  • Proficiency in reading electrical-instrument drawings.
  • Advanced computer literacy, in particular all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite and Visual Basic tools for data analysis.
  • Sound analytical skills and the ability to think laterally.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills enabling liaison at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and identify potential solutions by thinking outside of the box delivering alternative outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Must reside within the Goldfields region.
  • National Police Clearance within twelve (12) months of age
  • Current Unencumbered Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence.
