About the role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Credit Team Leader to join our Credit team! Reporting to the Credit Manager this exciting role is responsible for managing a team of Credit Officers, ensuring credit collections are made in a timely manner and all customer enquiries are resolved efficiently.

Requirements

  • Act as the escalation point for all team members supporting them with queries and challenges posed by customers
  • Allocate work/projects to different team members in line with outlined plans as required
  • Work on establishing and improving processes around customer correspondence, debt collection and escalation management
  • Manage all escalations and focus on collaborating with the different interfaces/teams to ensure a consistent customer experience
  • Ensure that the team is compliant with all laid down processes and there are no/minimal deviations from those
  • Manage the engagement and performance of employees within own team
  • Coach, mentor and guide the team with their daily tasks while also ensuring their personal development and growth
  • Identify areas of personal development and implement a plan for growth
