Fronditha Care is a longstanding Aged Care Provider committed to delivering services to Australian elders of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds. We focus on providing unique services both in residential and community care for elderly people of Greek speaking background in Victoria and of multilingual background in New South Wales.
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, experienced and caring Unit Coordinator Enrolled Nurse (EEN) to join the thriving organisation at the Clayton South Residential Facility, on a Full Time basis.
Requirements
Some of the responsibilities for this position include:
- Lead a 43 bed memory support unit, including coordination of staffing and resident care needs
- Medication administration and management.
- Plan, initiate and provide personal care needs consistent with care plans.
- Assist the Person in Charge in regular reviews of programs, care plans and activities.
- Ensure appropriate documentation for Accreditation, ACFI and Policy amp; Procedures.
- Provide and maintain a safe, home like environment;
The successful applicant will have:
- A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Registered Nurse.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Demonstrated knowledge and nursing experience in the provision of Aged Care.
- Empathy and problem solving skills
- A commitment to deliver quality to the care recipient
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
