Sidekicker is looking for an experienced Product Analyst to join our growing product team and spearhead our product analytics function.

In this role, you will be able to grow our current analytics capability, shape how product analytics operates at Sidekicker, and pave our path towards better data-driven decision-making.

Day-to-day the role entails:

• Work cross-functionally to embed data and insights throughout the product development process and inform product strategy
• Work with multiple product teams to support prioritization decisions and new feature launches
• Educate, train, and support product team members in becoming self-served with data and deriving meaningful insights
• Define and rollout product analytics best practices and work processes
• Work with engineering team members to ensure data quality and suitable, effective data tracking
• Present data and articulate insights to stakeholders in product and across the business
• Identify user behaviour trends and be an expert in our platform

What you bring to the role

• A minimum of 4 years experience in a product analytics role.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Self-starter who can shape our product analytics capability, direct our efforts, and be our source of expertise in this area
• Enjoy being on the tools, diving into the data, and conducting analytics projects to support product efforts.
• Motivated by working with and training other product and engineering team members
• Excellent communication skills, clearly articulate tasks, trade-offs, and insights to different types of stakeholders
• Growth mindset and curiosity. Motivated by uncovering and solving problems, challenging existing approaches, and experimenting with different solutions to get it right.
• Passionate about improving the world of contingent workforce and helping workers and employers do their best work.
• Experience with analytics and reporting tools. Familiarity with Amplitude, Metabase, Periscope, and Segment - a plus
• Familiarity with data warehouses/lakehouses architecture and analytics engineering - a plus
