Who is Civica?

You probably know us better as ArborSafe and we provide service and consultancy to manage trees. Our consulting arborists are leaders in their field and offer the highest level of tree advise to our customers. Our national client base includes a wide range of schools, universities, zoos, botanic gardens and so much more!

In March of last year, we joined Civica, a global software organisation providing digital solutions in schools and libraries, for health and care providers, and in local government. This has enabled us to expand our reach with more clients, which is why we are looking for talented Arborist to join our team.

What do our Consulting Arborists do?

Our Arborists have a high level of broad expertise across arboriculture products and services. Our Arborists provide detailed arborist reports, tree health care advise, AIA reports, tree safety audits and detailed management plans, and so much more.

What does it take to join our Arborsafe Team at Civica?

Sorry if this sounds cheesy, but we really do want you to bring your whole self to work. There is no such thing as the perfect candidate, so if you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the list below, please still get in touch.

• You will have a AQF Level 5 Certificate in arboriculture (or similar) with training in tree risk assessment such as TRAQ and/or QTRA .

• An ability to determine the most appropriate remedial actions to attend to specific tree defects with knowledge and skills in improving tree health and growing environments

• Sound skills in computer programs such as Word, Excel and email with experience in writing accurate and detailed arboriculture reports.

• Have a high level of verbal and written communication skills when communicating with colleagues and customers.

• You will hold a current Australian driver's license and working with children.
