Role Description

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of Public Realm, Open Space and Civic projects across Melbourne’s CBD.

Located in our Melbourne office, you’ll be responsible for urban development precinct projects up to $100m in value. These will include public areas, gardens, cafes, food/beverage popups, civil works and more.

You’ll also:

  • Oversee early works stages, including feasibility studies and scope of works.
  • Manage the high-end design team, interfacing between key stakeholders, user groups and Government entities
  • Manage the tender, planning and procurement process.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders, Government bodies, Authorities and clients.
  • Engage with contractors and consultants, including managing the construction process.
  • Oversee contract management, variations and claims.

Candidate Profile

These are high-profile, complex projects, so to be successful in this role you’ll need demonstrated experience as a Client-Side Project Manager, Design Manager or Development Manager.

Experience with civil, arts, museums, cultural, civic and/or heritage projects would be highly advantageous.

You’ll also need:

  • Experience in design management and overseeing planning approvals.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
  • A willingness to work with team members and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
  • A desire to contribute to the overall growth of the business.
  • Qualifications in Project Management, Design Management, Construction, Architecture, Engineering or related discipline.
