Job Description

Summary

Our Client Agency is looking for an Account Manager with solid experience with a consumer PR background who has worked across multiple FMCG clients in the past.

You must have integrated PR experience with media communications, influencer marketing , marketing and a social media background. This role requires some one who is used to working in a fast paced PR environment, who is calm under pressure and loves the challenge.

We are ideally looking for a full time person 5 days a week, but would be open to considering a 4 day a week arrangement or even a 3-6 month contract role. We operate a hybrid model across the agency and currently work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

ROLE:

A Senior Account Manager’s mission is to profitably create and execute strategy for a number of leading Australian brands. A SAM will operate largely autonomously, have well developed judgment, adaptability and responsibility as a practitioner. They will lead a small team to effectively and profitably achieve client outcomes.

He or she will be supported by the General Manager/Managing Director to develop/refine campaign strategy as well as manage complex issues or crisis situations as they arise.

Reports to Senior Account Director: General Manager

Direct Reports TBC (Account Executive, Account Co-ordinator, Intern)

KNOWLEDGE

Specific and in-depth theoretical and technical knowledge of: agency/organisation; communication industry; communication theories; Australian politics, society and media; communication practices; clients and customers; sector; and ethical practice and social responsibility.
