Job Description

The purpose of the Management Accountant at EPG Group is to analyse key financial information

that will aid group planning and commercial decision making that will ensure future growth and

profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of monthly management reports tracking financial performance against budget
  • Provide commentary on management reports
  • Preparation of cashflow forecasts
  • Variance analysis around actual results compared to the budget and forecasts for each

    • business within the group

  • Analyse trends and financial performance across business units
  • Evaluate the company’s performance using key data
  • Make forecasts to assist business planning and decision making
  • Conduct risk assessment and advise on ways to minimize risk
  • Develop initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth
  • Developing financial models and providing financial forecasts
  • Explore different investment opportunities
  • Consult with the management team to develop long term commercial plans
  • Analyse financial performance and identify trends

    • Requirements

    Relevant Business/Finance related degree

  • CPA or CA qualified
  • Experience as a management accountant/financial analyst
  • Analytical mind with strong aptitude in math
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Critical and analytical thinker
  • Excellent communication skills
