The role
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Web Developer who is keen to work in an education setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop new product features and new applications within an Agile environment as well as maintaining and supporting existing applications.
- Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization.
- Debugging and maintaining written code.
- Reporting and resolving issues related to .NET projects.
- Identifying and handling technical risks and issues.
- Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization.
- Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members
- Designing and developing SmartIQ forms to address business requirements.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in computer programming, computer science, or information technology ideal.
- C#, .NET 3.5 (or higher), and Microsoft Visual Studio certification and experience.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a JavaScript developer specializing in jQuery.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer.
- Familiarity with building intuitive front-end applications.
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, SQL queries.
- Great understanding of Ajax, APIs and web services.
- A strong foundation in SSRS.
- Basic understanding of code versioning tools like Git.
- Ability to maintain branding throughout projects
- Ability to write clean, easy to understand code.
- Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
- Experience with working in an agile environment.
The role is based in a school setting in Melbourne's East, and is a fixed term 12 month position, with the view to permanency. Hybrid flexible working arrangements are available.
All our team members are required to obtain and maintain a valid Victorian Working with Children Check and a Police Check.
