Universal Biosensors (UBI) is a world leading, publicly listed Australian company (ASX:UBI) which develops, manufactures and sells biosensors for use in several industries around the world. Our biosensor technology has been used in more than 10 billion measurements for blood glucose monitoring and blood coagulation in diabetes and coagulation patients worldwide. Recently, we have pivoted our technology into the wine industry with our global launch of SENTIA last year. In addition, we continue to develop new applications for our technology within human health, veterinarian and food amp; agriculture.
Requirements
What you will do
UBI is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team. This is a new role added to expand our Sales amp; Marketing team, reporting directly to the Sales amp; Marketing Manager for Sentia, our innovative tool developed to assist winemakers in their craft. Though our Corporate HQ is in Rowville, Melbourne, this role will spend majority of the time visiting clients!
As the Business Development Manager, you will drive sales for Sentia, the recently launched point-of-use wine analysis device which performs in-process test that will monitor the concentration of free Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Glucose, Fructose and Malic Acid during wine production.
Who you are
We are looking for a results-driven and proactive candidate who may be degree-qualified in Business/Marketing (or similar) coupled with a relevant Wine-related education/background; or, degree-qualified in Wine Science/Oenology with a business/marketing background. Wine industry experience preferred.
