Purpose
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, with safety, efficiency and customer service a priority, you'll be accountable for daily afternoon warehouse operations. Nothing gives you more pride than a warehouse functioning like a well-oiled machine, and the team around are highly engaged in delivering exceptional service to key stakeholders both internally amp; externally (moments that matter).
You are:
A reliable, polite, presentable, professional, well-spoken and experienced in Warehousing. Occasional extended days and additional hours are required, particularly over our Peak season. Take the next step in your career and enjoy a hands-on job full of variety and challenges.
Requirements
Our core business is frozen and refrigerated logistics and warehousing; you must be comfortable working in different climates and environments. Immediate start, but willing to wait for the right applicant with a long-term vision of integration and growth. We have an exciting new (National) client and project we're about to onboard in which you'll be a key stakeholder, ensuring a smooth transition. Hours are from 11am - 8.00pm- compensation covers up to 10 hours$79, 803K annual salary.
Qualifications
- Supervisor experience
- Cert III in Warehousing (or equivalent experience)
- Clean Drivers License
- Current Forklift License (Reach experience advantageous)
- HACCP Knowledge amp; working in a frozen/cold environment (advantageous)
- Australian industry experience (essential)
- Current HR license would be highly regarded
Skills amp; Experience:
- Experience supervising warehouse staff to ensure tasks get completed
- Strong time management skills
- Must have min 2-5 + years of warehousing experience
- Police clearance, able to pass an alcohol or drug test
- Tech savvy and familiar with mobile applications
