Due to an internal promotion, we are searching for a hands-on Communications Manager to join our global Marketing amp; Communications team.

What your new job can look like

With the pace of Moodle, no two days will ever be the same! But most days will involve a mix of:

  • Designing and implementing communications initiatives that position and strengthen the Moodle brand and reputation globally
  • Overseeing high quality content generation for Moodle’s range of products and services
  • Managing and leading a Content Writer, ensuring appropriate content is produced and is in line with strategic marketing and comms initiatives
  • Manage integrated campaigns across marketing channels, including digital marketing, content, PR and events
  • Building connections with the Moodle community and forming strategic alliances with the media to amplify the Moodle brand

Requirements

We'd love to meet you

Especially if you can talk to us about your:

  • Proven experience in Communications, Marketing or Journalism, preferably within the Education or EdTech sector
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing successful communications strategies that strengthen market position
  • Creative mind-set and ability to take story ideas from concept to launch. Creating themes that can play through PR, social media, executive keynotes, general marketing and internal messaging.
  • Experience in the preparation and delivery of digital marketing, websites, marketing collateral, and other types of print, electronic and social media
  • Proven experience within PR and media relations, as well as high quality copywriting, proofreading and editing skills
  • Experience coaching and guiding team members
  • Ability to self-motivate and work to tight deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills in English (both written and verbal), and a strong eye for detail
