Our Hospitality Attendants (Café) are an integral part of our team working in the Cruise Café amp; Bar within our Port of Airlie Terminal.


What will you be doing?

Your primary job is to ensure each and every guest has an experience of a lifetime. Together you will share special places and create lasting memories. Your days may include:

  • Delivering exceptional guest experiences and consistent service;
  • Cash handling and bar service;
  • Barista and basic food preparation duties;
  • Overseeing the stock control of consumables and daily reconciliations;;
  • Address guest complaints or issues promptly to maintain guest experience;
  • Adherence of operational procedures and WHS requirements and
  • General café, kitchen and terminal housekeeping.

We have both Casual and Part Time opportunities available for passionate, high quality hospitality professionals to join our Cruise Whitsundays family and create and deliver the highest standard for food, service and hospitality for our guests. We want you to be a brand ambassador of the incredible experiences we bring to life.

The successful candidate will be passionate about the hospitality industry with a real commitment to delivering the best standards of customer service. The successful candidate;

  • Knows their stuff, hold exceptional barista skills, basic food handling experience and are recognised for their strengths in guest service.
  • See's everything through a guest centric lens
  • Has an energy that’s dynamic and has fun when you work their smile will say it all

Requirements

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • COVID Safe Dining In Certificate
  • Barista experience and certifications highly desirable
