Our capes are on to reshape an industry built around outdated and shady products and practices. Our first brand Lyka delivers fresh, human-grade meals as a subscription service to dogs across Australia.
Since our founding in 2018, we have served over 10 million meals to dogs all over Australia.
We’re looking for an exceptional Fulfilment Section Leader to join our team in Wetherill Park. This role will report to the afternoon shift supervisor while working closely with the Morning Shift Pouching amp; Fulfilment team leader.
About Lyka
Lyka was built on the belief that all puppers should live their best life. We deliver human-grade meals on a subscription to dogs all over Australia. We produce all of our food in our human-grade kitchen in Sydney.
Our company began when our founder Anna went on a journey to improve her dog’s, Lyka, health. Anna started creating a homemade diet for Lyka. In just a few weeks, Lyka had more energy, less tooth decay, and a healthier coat.
Since then, Team Lyka has grown to a team of driven and like-minded dog-lovers with a single shared goal: to serve our customers and their pupper with the best possible care on the planet. From improving digestive issues in puppers to bringing back the youthful energy in seniors we’re getting closer to our mission, every day.
Requirements
- Basic IT skills inclusive on the ability to use, setup amp; troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners, MS Excel, Slack, web browsers.
- Good mathematical amp; reconciliation skills. (e.g. look for missing boxes amp; support warehouse on stocktakes)
- Competent in all tasks around fulfilment.
- Good knowledge and confident in implementing 5S
- Excellent team and task organisational skills, passionate about improving productivity
- Excellent verbal amp; written communication skills
- Ability to speak in front of large groups
- Passionate, lead by example amp; set a high bar on Health amp; Safety and Quality standards.
- Ability to train, mentor and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Confident to have hard conversations with people from time to time.
- Demonstrate ability in working closely with inter-departments and management. (Warehouse and shift changeovers)
- Effective planning and execution of job rotation of your team members to meet safety amp; cross skilling requirements
- Ability to be moved to other departments as required to meet cross-skilling and operational requirements.
