Job Description
Fronditha Care is a longstanding Aged Care Provider that focuses on providing unique, culturally and linguistically diverse services, offering residential and Community Services to elderly people of predominantly Greek speaking background in Victoria and multilingual background in New South Wales.
We are looking to hear from candidates who wish to provide support and quality care to their local community and help improve the quality of life for our clients by attending to their social needs within the context of language, cultural heritage and traditions.
The position of the SSG Personal Care Worker is responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Assist in the provision of activities for participants, which meet their needs and are culturally significant
- Participate in planning and implement daily routines
- Monitor group participation, note changes and update progress notes
Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Ageing Support or Home amp; Community Care or Cert IV in Leisure amp; Health or working to the equivalent or willingness to undertake studies in Aged Care
- Current First Aid amp; CPR Certificates or willingness to work towards obtaining one
- Access to insured vehicle
- Current Australian drivers licence
- Current National Police Check
- Bi-lingual skills in English and Greek (highly desirable)
