Requirements

As a QA Engineer at Bigtincan, you will assist with manual and automated testing of our products, and define and improve the processes surrounding the development and implementation of our complex software applications.

• Analyse product requirements and then develop, document and execute test plans and identify deliverables
• Collaborate with developers on validating user stories during the sprint.
• Maintain, coordinate and execute suites of test cases, then report on the status and escalate issues as required
• Document test cases in the test case management system
• Proactively solve problems which arise during the development, testing and release processes, then suggest process improvements where appropriate
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and verify software defects and other technical issues
• Write and run automated tests within the existing frameworks

• 3+ years experience in reviewing product requirements and design, creating test plans, and manually testing applications
• Experience in Agile software development life cycle environments
• Experience with source control, defect tracking tools, and test management tools like Bitbucket, JIRA, XRAY,etc.
• Knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Appium, etc.) and programming languages (C#, Python, Java, Javascript, etc.) will be an added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Initiative and can-do attitude
