Junior Graphic Designer
As Junior Graphic Designer, you’ll be responsible for supporting the implementation of our newly refreshed brand across social media, print collateral, digital presentations, merchandise and more.
Reporting to the senior graphic designer, this opportunity will be best suited to a creative and motivated team-player who is keen to develop industry-leading design whilst collaborating to learn and grow their talents.
This is a 3 month temporary part time contract (2-3 days a week) with the opportunity for ongoing.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce dynamic and engaging digital (ie. pitch decks, advertising, web banners, gifs, emails) and print (ie. brochures, flyers, posters, banners, merchandise, event activations) marketing collateral that is true to brand
- Design social media content working closely with senior graphic designer
- Revise existing old brand pitch decks and collateral and inject our new brand into them
- Collate and create minor edits on stock photography using Lightroom
What you bring
- Tertiary education in Graphic Design
- A keen team player with communication and collaboration skills
- Produce a great design portfolio with dynamic and sleek design examples
- 2+ years experience working with design software (Adobe Creative Suite), Microsoft Office (Docs and Slides) and ability to work on a Mac
- Strong Canva skills desired
- Strong understanding of design principles such as hierarchy, balance, movement, typography and layout
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members
- Attention to detail, organised and efficient
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of video editing software and animation is favourable
