About The Role

The Employee Relations Administrator is responsible for supporting the Employment Relations Manager in administering employee relations on behalf of the organisation. This includes; producing employment agreements, providing advice about Fair Work Award classification, minimum wage compliance, and employee benefits or minimum entitlements, and other ad hoc administration support.

What you will do

  • Producing letters of offer and employment agreements for our employees across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Providing administrative support for the employee relations team which is compliant with both Datacom policy and current legislation.
  • Supporting the ANZ Employment Relations Manager to deliver high-level service, which demonstrates clear value to all stakeholders.
  • Providing analytics on contracts and hiring statistics.
  • Ensuring governance, compliance and best practice is consistently applied to all tasks.
  • Promoting a culture of engagement and fair treatment for all employees.
  • Ensuring that all requests for advice are dealt with within an acceptable timeframe.
  • Representing Datacom through professional and timely communications.
  • Providing recommendations on continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
  • Takes reasonable care that their actions (or inactions) do not harm the Health and Safety of self or others. Reports all incidents, hazards or unsafe work practices as per Datacom policy.

What you will bring

  • Some knowledge of human resources and employment relations.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent writing ability and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of governance and compliance.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to frequently interact with a variety of stakeholders and team members.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to balance workload and conflicting priorities.
  • Professional phone manner.
