Job Description
Our client is looking for a Cloud Security Specialist to join their delivery team within the Data and Analytics Program of work are implementing a modernised Data and Analytics Eco-system with the use of Cloud Servics for data ingestion and consumption, data stores and tooling. The team is made up of Cloud Architects , Security and System Analysts , Cloud and DevOps (inclusive of DevSecOps) Engineers, full stack application developers and is part of the Enterprise Data and Analytics Branch in the Enterprise Solution and Technology Portfolio. The team is made up of staff across multiple nation-wide sites , with primary staff members located in Canberra, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Cloud Security Specialist or similar role
- Must have advanced knowledge on Cloud platforms, specifically AWS amp; Azure
- Drives DAPS design alignment to security baselines for approved cloud services
- Contributes to design/architecture artefacts and solutions
- Drives DevSecOps processes within the program
- Identify potential patterns/guardrails for future state improvements
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Contribute to the resolution of security risks and issues and recommend solutions to meet security policies and frameworks
- Explain complex information to stakeholders to drive security outcomes; understand system requirements and leverage expertise to solve problems
