A day in the life:
You will spend your day designing best-in-class solutions with our data architects, cloud architects and other super intelligent and innovative people. You can think of what is needed to take our solution to a national and global audience. A green field opportunity within a well-funded project is an opportunity to miss. When you are not thinking about the architecture, you will be working with the team to support them to ensure that the architecture is being implemented and per design. You will play a pivotal role in quality and consistency across the solution.Key Accountabilities- Key objectives will include design, automation; availability; scalability; Q/A, Security and security management.
- Set the technical vision for designing and delivering quality new products and create the enabling architecture and infrastructure backbone as required.
- Define, build and maintain the technical architecture for data storage and API.
- A key contributor to the delivery of data foundations
- Support the development of appropriate data models, data flows and data documentation.
- Working with Governance Risk and Compliance and the Legal teams to establish, maintain and operate within the risk, governance and legal frameworks
- Working with the Technology team to ensure the appropriate infrastructure is established and maintained
- Ensure the correct architecture, principles, patterns, standards and policies are applied in architectural design.
Skills and Experience - Min 3 years experience as a Solution Architect
- Have advanced knowledge and experience of AWS services.
- This includes completing conceptual and technical architecture designs and seeing these through to build, test and deploy.
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
- Scripting technologies Golang and Python
- GIT and BitBucket
- Pager Duty
- App Dynamics
- AWS Certification (preferably at a professional level)
