We are looking for a Fintech Country lead to join our growing team and lead our fintech business in Australia!


About your responsibilities in this strategic role:

  • Under the leadership of the Australia Country head, and partnering with the Head of Fintech based in Singapore, adapt Sleek’s fintech strategy for Australia, developing an action plan to achieve customer acquisition and usage goals.
  • Work with the Head of Fintech to apply for a non-cash payments AFSL in Australia, to facilitate Sleek's e-payments business account service.
  • Perform the role of Responsible Manager under the AFSL application and operation
  • Work closely with the Product management team to launch the product and contribute to the ongoing roadmap prioritisation and project planning
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key commercial and technology partners for the fintech business
  • Work with the marketing team for the promotion of Sleek’s business account service, and ensure all supports are accurate and relevant
  • Maintain and update the management of the company on the key metrics of business
  • Ensure that the workflows amp; processes for onboarding, engagement amp; servicing of business account clients are optimised
  • Partner closely with local Customer Success and Support teams to deliver excellent end-to-end customer service, including customer engagement and customer issues resolution within service level standards.
  • Own and drive customer success for Sleek Business Account, such as planning and driving initiatives that lead to increased customer happiness, gathering the voice of the customer and working closely with internal teams to affect the feedback and improve the product on an ongoing basis.
  • Represent Sleek Fintech in the Fintech ecosystem in Australia, building networks.

Requirements


  • You have at least 10 years of working experience in FinTech or SME banking roles, and at least 3 years in the last 5 years in non-cash deposits and payments, including FX contracts.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics or Finance
  • You have a deep knowledge of compliance and AML/CFT
  • Experience in SME customer-facing roles like sales, relationship management, or branch banking.
  • Operating knowledge of payments and related regulatory requirements.
  • Exposure to technology development and operations processes, and a love for building new products and services that delight customers
  • Enjoy engaging and helping customers, and possess good listening and communication skills
  • Able to organise tasks smoothly, project manage, amp; liaise with stakeholders to drive deliverables.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, being able to work independently, and having space to create and problem-solve.
  • Have a growth mindset that is collaborative and team-oriented.
