Reporting into the Global Head of Compliance Operations, you will understand the value the compliance operations functions have in delivering key business objectives and have the foresight to spot opportunities to innovate and develop new ways of operating.
What You'll Do:
Global Due Diligence and Financial Crime Program:
- Complete day to day reviews including corporate and consumer onboarding, ongoing monitoring and consumer fraud reviews whilst ensuring alignment with the Global Due Diligence Program
Organisational Transformation
- Support the development and implementation of the Quality Control Frameworks to ensure Xe maintains consistency and accuracy whilst striving for continuous improvement of the Compliance Operations function
System Implementation:
- Support the implementation of new systems and processes that directly impact the Compliance Operations Team to help improve customer experience and operational efficiency
Subject Matter Expert:
- Act as a contact and reference point for Compliance Operations Team e.g. handling escalated queries, exceptions and provide regular, constructive feedback to the team to aid their development
- Provide training and support to the Compliance Operations Team on processes and systems to maximise productivity, enabling business SLAs for client on-boarding to continuously be met
- Maintain high levels of performance at all times including situations with challenging timeframes and complex situations and scenarios
Project Support:
- Complete ad-hoc project assistance as assigned by the Compliance Operations Supervisor to support the compliance and business strategy
Requirements
Essential:
- A demonstrable understanding of legal/regulatory compliance surrounding the compliance operations function of at least 5 years
- Ability to identify, mitigate and communicate risks and to address compliance issues where they arise and where necessary, reduce the impact to the overall client experience
- Create a customer-focused culture that has a clear understanding of risk and an innovative can-do mindset that achieves both the regulatory objectives and a good customer experience
Desirable:
- Expertise in using tools such as Compliance Catalyst, Actimize and Accertify
- ICA Advanced Certificate in AML/Financial Crime, ACAMs
