What is the opportunity?

An opportunity has arisen to join us as a Parts and Shipping Coordinator based at Greystanes, NSW.

The purpose of this role is to coordinate tasks to ensure that inbound shipments of product are available on time and to support the warehouse receiving team and demand planners and administer specified tasks. Assist with the quality handling of customer queries, and delivering a positive dealer support experience.

Further to the above the duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Facilitate customs clearance of incoming goods. Ensure customs documentation is prepared either personally, or by the company’s agents, for imported shipments and that drawback opportunities are pursued to advantage the company financially.
  • Prepare and verify incoming shipping records against bills of lading and/or vendor invoices.
  • Maintain records of goods received or despatched, upload data in relevant systems for receipt and processing.
  • Route all incoming goods to the proper company departments, code and forward documentation for payment authorisation.
  • Be proactive in identifying the possibility of delays to inbound deliveries which may impact stock availability or has cost implications to the business and to alert the business accordingly.
  • In cooperation with the Receiving Supervisor, co-ordinate shipment unpack priority lists and container arrival schedules.
  • Effectively support the parts operations team to coordinate and resolve all freight incidents and disputes.
  • To provide accurate and timely support to the Demand Planning, Inbound Receiving and Dealer Support teams for all reporting and administration functions.
  • Provide assistance to Dealer Support and Demand Planners during busy periods or staff absence.
  • To assist the Demand Planning, Inbound Shipping and Dealer Support teams achieve best practice development in forecasting, procurement, inventory control, supplier and customer relationship management to meet our Customer’s Service Level requirements.
