The role:

Reporting into the Chief Customer Officer, the Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing a customer acquisition strategy for the whole of Australia in order to achieve regional revenue targets for the business.

As a senior member of the acquisition function you will lead and mentor the sales team by effectively driving the expansion of ClickView’s market share and revenue growth rates.

We’re looking for someone with a successful track record of leading and motivating teams, achieving revenue targets through excellence in sales, customer experience and strategy. The ideal candidate will have an acute awareness of the needs of educators and a proactive mindset.

Your goal is to drive our success in the education sector and to encourage prospects of ClickView to adopt more of curriculum-aligned world class video content.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Directly lead and coach the performance of the AU sales team (3+ team members and growing) to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Ensures continued progress by proactively taking responsibility for the BDM’s day to day development and performance
  • Lead and execute the sales process across the entire sales cycle
  • Lead our central purchasing group strategy with a yearly target
  • Develop an in depth understanding of the ClickView platform and content library; and evangelize ClickView across the relevant target markets, promoting brand positioning throughout your identified market
  • Cultivate positive external relationships on behalf of and to the benefit of ClickView, exemplifying ClickView values
  • Coordinate with the Customer Success Australia Manager to ensure smooth transition from prospect to customer as well as design plans to leverage customer relationships
  • Identify best practices and make recommendations to exec leadership to improve team performance and culture and identify potential areas for growth
  • Work with sales enablement to provide insights into existing processes, opportunities for improvement and upskilling of the team
  • Maintain and leverage accurate data around opportunities, sales activities and revenue projections in our CRM
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5 years+ experience in sales, with 2 years+ experience leading sales teams
  • Experience within EdTech and selling to schools preferable
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen through the successful establishment and execution of commercial strategies
  • Track record of growing sales and market share in the education or technology industry
  • Experience coaching high-performing sales teams and holding teams accountable to sales processes, activity and targets
  • Significant understanding and comfortability with data and how to use data to make informed business decisions
  • Successful experience with contract negotiation and pricing strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully launch new products and build profitable income streams
  • Superb leadership skills with demonstrated ability to inspire, delegate, motivate and coach people
