The Talent Acquisition Business Partner role will be varied and stimulating from day one. You'll be reporting into the Global Talent Manager and will have a great deal of autonomy to help define Talent Acquisition at Open. This is a varied role, responsible for Graduate roles through to Executive search. You'll have the scope to own and lead Talent and wider People and Culture initiatives.


Some of the things you will do are:

1. Be a strategic partner - You’ll get the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders from our Interns through to our CEO’s. You’ll have the ability to work across every business unit. You will develop meaningful and influential relationships which will ensure you’re a trusted advisor to the business.

2. Attract and retain talent - You’ll Help build the best teams and retain top talent. You will work closely with the Talent Manager and wider Pamp;C Team to create and implement strategies to engage with candidates in new and innovative ways. In addition, you will support employee experience and employer brand initiatives as Open becomes an Employer of choice globally.

3. Contribute to a world-class candidate experience - Driving a positive candidate experience throughout the life cycle of the recruitment process by keeping candidates interested and connected while providing timely feedback and coaching, and facilitating an effective transition from recruitment to onboarding.

4. Work on varied projects - You’ll have the ability to participate in a variety of people driven projects and initiatives and supporting the team in achieving broader strategy objectives. Some of these will include; EVP, Global Benefits, Global Talent Mobility and Hiring Manager Training.

5. Build talent density - You’ll play a key part in helping to develop the global Talent Acquisition strategy for Open to help us build talent density fast and enable our 10X growth ambitions.

6. Grow as the business grows - As the business grows from strength to strength. So will your role. You will have the tools, support and team behind you to ensure you are continually growing and learning. Outside of Talent Acquisition, you’ll have the ability to lean into HR initiatives.

Requirements


Ideally you will have most of the following skills:

  • You’ll bring experience as a Business Partner and pride yourself on building strong working relationships and partnering with internal hiring managers to build trust and credibility.
  • Ideally you have come from a high-growth technology company and have worked within the insurance, banking or FinTech/InsurTech or SaaS sectors.
  • You’ve helped build maturity in high-growth environments, growing talent and capability.
  • You’ll be someone who thrives in fast-paced and at times, ambiguous environments, building the new as well as driving continuous improvement. You’ll have demonstrated commitment to continually improving the candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Experience coaching and providing employees with advice, guidance, and tools to facilitate effective and globally consistent best practice talent management.
  • You will have experience managing a proactive, cost efficient and effective end to end recruitment process across a variety of roles.
  • You are a high EQ individual that wants to make their mark on the global stage for a high growth FinTech.
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with an influential style.
  • A solution focused approach amp; look at how to make things possible. You thrive on using your initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Extensive experience in building strong talent pools through a variety of create sourcing activities.
  • You are a team player - happy to chip in and do things outside the scope of your role to achieve a desired outcome.
