About the role
This is a great time to join our infrastructure engineering team as it embarks on a transformational journey to support the growth of our business. Reporting to our IT Support Manager, you will be a key member of our fast-paced team.
Key Responsibilities:
- BAU for L2 / L3 escalations
- Priority 1 / Priority 2 incident management for internal services and platforms
- Work with our Security Team / SOC on security improvements and vulnerability remediations
- License and Usage reporting
- Regular maintenance of our platform and services
- Continues BCP and compliance testing
- Documentation of our services and platforms as well as processes and guidelines
- Maintain a FAQ / Wiki for our internal staff
- Improving knowledge and skills by contributing to business related trainings and exams
- Pager Duty for internal systems
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline
- Industry-specific certifications will be well regarded
- Minimum 2 years MSP experience
- Minimum 3 years experience or more as a systems engineer or similar
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to deliver superior service and solutions to all key stake holders
