Cape Mentelle Vineyard is proud to be one of Margaret River’s ‘founding’ wineries. Our winery has pioneered many of the region’s renowned wine styles and today is a benchmark for the quality of the region’s wines. We aim to produce wines that capture a unique sense of place in every bottle. These characteristics are defined by our pristine coastal location, unique soils and 50 years of viticultural history.
We are looking for exceptionally skilled Cellar Hands from various backgrounds to bring their dedication and knowledge to support us with the year’s harvest. We provide comprehensive training, a social and collaborative work environment and a range of tasks allowing you to immerse yourself and build an intimate understanding of the winemaking process. You will have direct access to our winemaking team and ability to build your professional networks with staff from around the world.
During the harvest period, you may be required to work shifts of up to 12 hours in length and up to 6 days per week.
Our Cellar Hands are responsible for all winery harvest duties including grape receival and processing, rackings and transfers, filtration, red and white fermentation management and barrel work.
