We’ve grown a lot lately, so the Marketing department are now looking for an Acquisition Marketing Manager to drive our local customer acquisition strategy across our three Australian brands Marley Spoon, Dinnerly and Chefgood.

Your role

  • Plan, negotiate and steer the Australian offline growth strategy across Marley Spoon, Dinnerly and Chefgood brands
  • Execute acquisition strategy across all offline media channels including TV, Out of Home, Radio, Podcast, Direct Sales, Direct Mail, Flyering and Partnerships by planning, delivering and optimising customer acquisition at an efficient CPA
  • Ownership and management of the offline acquisition budget
  • Collaborate with the Online marketing team to develop cohesive marketing campaigns, steering local growth topics and optimising for profitability
  • Measure, track and analyse local marketing campaigns and KPI’s to understand the impact of offline activities, using data and problem solving to model media opportunities and optimise campaign performance
  • Brief, manage and partner with the creative and content team to develop a range of performance assets, from flyers to TVC’s and OOH campaigns
  • Test, learn, iterate and scale by driving continuous improvement in efficiency and ROI
  • Work with senior members of the marketing team to define the role that media plays in new customer acquisition and building a brand
  • Bring together your flair of consumer communications and creative strategy with experience in performance marketing to deliver tangible incremental growth for the business
  • Constantly Identify new opportunities and emerging channels to help grow our business and brand

Requirements

General requirements

This is you

  • Minimum 4-5 years growth experience in Marketing with a focus on growth / direct response/ performance marketing
  • Completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics or Analytics is preferred
  • D2C and Ecommerce experience is critical with experience in growth and scale
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving capabilities and experience using data and consumer insights to build marketing cases to inform campaign planning and audience targeting
  • Experienced in media planning, buying and delivery with strong knowledge of the AU media landscape and agencies
  • Experience using analytical and BI tools such Tableau / Looker etc to create insightful reporting to track performance and inform strategy
  • Knack for design with ability to brief and feedback on creative campaigns based on insights across a variety of channels including Out Of Home, Television Commercials, podcasts etc
  • Experience managing media and sales agency relationships and being the main point of contact
  • You are close to the latest marketing trends and constantly looking for new ways to increase performance
