We have a senior team of highly experienced project managers with significant front-end advisory, project management, design management, and construction delivery experience who have a genuine interest in, and current understanding of what is required to deliver extraordinary projects.


The Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a background in construction or client-side project management to join our Melbourne CBD team. The right candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to think laterally, critically, and strategically to solve problems.

The purpose of the role:

  • Lead projects using your acquired skills and expertise.
  • Demonstrates the ability to identify potential project impacts and issues; manages clients and stakeholder expectations and seeks supervisor’s engagement in ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Prepares detailed project programs, managing and reporting on project progress and implementing initiatives to ensure successful delivery.
  • Arranges for preparation of detailed project budgets; monitors and tests project cost advice; reports on project cost and budget trends and issues; recommends initiatives to manage project cost outcomes successfully.
  • Manages and develops project team staff to enhance individual performance and deliver excellent project outcomes.
  • Ensures that project team members understand and implement RPI project management business policy, processes and systems.

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in an industry-related discipline e.g. construction management, architecture, building, engineering, project management.
  • Minimum of ten years' experience in a related industry position
  • Have experience in diverse and challenging stakeholder environments
  • Have experience in the design and construction stages of projects within the Education Sector in Victoria
  • Experience working in a live environment
  • Have a background in the construction industry, e.g. an Architect, Project Engineer, Civil or Structural Engineer or construction Project Manager
