About the role:
The Backend NodeJS API Developer will work within one of these agile teams to deliver new Node.JS API microservices. The purpose of these services is to provide operational processing as a part of the larger data pipeline that is being developed in the cloud.

Requirements
- Develop new API microservices using Typescript and NodeJS.
- Participate in unit testing activities management of data, test resolution where needed and oversee the completion of TFS tasks, incorporating test sign offs.
- Collaborate with the Test/Environment/DevOps teams to develop automated test and deployment processes.
- Hold demonstrations of delivery outcomes for stakeholders.
- Experience developing NodeJS based microservices using either the Express, Koa or Hapi frameworks.
- Knowledge or experience working with AWS Lambda, AWS Document DB (Mongo DB), AWS DynamoDB, AWS API Gateway, AWS Kinesis and Google Apigee.
- Proficiency in Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe is required.
- Clean code practices
- Test driven development
- Experience writing unit test with frameworks like Mocha and Chai or Jest
