We are inviting Expression of Interest from people who'd love to work as Full Stack Developers (Mid-Level to Senior) at No Moss Co on upcoming projects.

We are looking for Full Stack Developers who have a love for solving challenging technical problems, while also having a deep human drive to help those around you be better and more capable people, and are a champion for continuous improvement of the practices in your team.

We need you to have the confidence and ability to self-manage in a consulting environment. You are someone who has experience of, and is equally excited about, coaching junior developers, and can foster a safe and collaborative team environment. You might have a history of leading technology teams on projects from small single-developer projects, up to larger projects with multiple squads (or if you don't quite have that already, you are excited to keep developing it).

You are an outcome-driven person who has a history of trying resulting in both successes and learning from your failures.

Requirements

• you are competent in at least one of the following web application frameworks and languages. This could include:
  • VueJS + Javascript/HTML/CSS,
  • React + Typescript/HTML/CSS,
  • Django + Python,
  • NETCore + C#,
  • Spring Boot + Java,
  • Laravel/Symfony/CakePHP
  • Express (or similar) + Node.js.
• as a senior developer, you may have experience using appropriate database technologies in applicable use cases. Skills could include:
  • Relational databases (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL etc)
  • NoSQL databases (such as DynamoDB, MongoDB etc)
  • Deploying databases to cloud service providers like AWS or Azure
• you enjoy working closely with product owners, designers, and other developers to create a truly delightful application experience
• you have a good understanding of, or willingness to learn, Agile principles.
• you have a desire to advise and mentor others, including junior team members, and this is something you want to develop further.
• you are a strong communicator, and comfortable with explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical clients.
• you have a desire to learn how to develop with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• you have experience writing automated tests for web applications.
• Due to the nature of the role, for example where the consultants are required to visit clients onsite on a regular basis, evidence of double vaccination against COVID-19 is required unless you have evidence of a medical exemption.
• You're an Australian citizen or hold a current visa to work in Australia.
