We are looking for experienced Product Architect to join our Technology Team.
For this position you will be leading the team through the technical roadmap by defining the architecture guidelines, ensuring that it is aligned with company's technical strategy and being a pioneer on proposing new approaches to obtain technical and business goals during the implementation phase of the product features.

Requirements

You are responsible for

  • Primarily, this position provides architectural vision, design and implementation leadership for software products being built within the MedicalDirector business. The role is accountable for ensuring that the architecture of all solutions is in line with business and technical strategy and appropriate to meet both current and future business needs. Key considerations include security, resilience, reliability, scalability, integration, supportability, deployment, longevity, cost, skills availability, maintainability and use of relevant industry best practice.
  • Secondly, the role is a first point of contact for technical enquiries arising from the business providing technical subject matter expertise in support of business activities such as exploring new market opportunities, responding to tenders, responding to sales enquiries, assessing potential technology partners and so on.
  • Thirdly, this role provides technical leadership during critical outages or failures which have a technical source or which could be resolved with application of a technical solution.

Experienced in

  • Architectural Vision: Build and maintain a technical roadmap which supports the business and product strategies. The roadmap will provide early visibility of critical technical obsolescence, support both short-term and long-term technical delivery and aid in minimising technical debt by both planning to pay down existing debt and reducing the uptake of new debt.
  • Architectural Design: Lead and personally execute on architectural design activities required for major new pieces of work.
  • Implementation Leadership: Provide implementation guidance to technical teams as well as personally delivering on implementation of more complex and/or critical elements of the technical architecture.
  • Business Support: Provide accurate, timely, appropriate technical subject matter expertise to business stakeholders who request it.
  • Critical Outages: Provide guidance, leadership and personally lead the resolution of critical outages to ensure the best possible resolution in the shortest amount of time

Experience and skills;

  • At least 7 years of software development experience
  • At least 5 years involved with software design, including exposure to solution architecture
  • Exposure to product development principles
  • Understanding of Solutions Architecture methodologies
