About the role
Work as part of the Finance team at our head office in Waterloo, Sydney, you’ll report into the Head of Finance and work closely with the wider finance team, your role centres on:
- Full function accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, payments and allocations
- Bank reconciliation, cost allocations, fixed asset management, balance sheet reconciliation
- Month end tasks, accruals, prepayments, journal posting
- Budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and reporting
- General accounting and ad hoc tasks
You’ll be given full training from an experienced, caring amp; proactive team who’s focussed on smart working and leveraging technology to make our working lives easier.
You’ll also be working closely with a range of stakeholders across the business and will have the opportunity to get involved on ad hoc projects to build your knowledge and understanding of the business.
Base Salary range $50-$60k
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent
- Already started or looking to commence CA/CPA qualifications
- 3 to 6 months experience in a similar finance function carrying out key accounting tasks (desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Highly numerate, high attention to detail, analytical with the ability to think logically
- MS Office experience with a good working knowledge of excel as a minimum
- Strong organisational and time management skills
